ER309LMo is well suited for austenitic ferritic joints with a maximum application temperature of 572° F. It is also suited for stainless with wet corrosion up to 662° F.

ER309LMo is used for the welding of dissimilar materials between stainless and low alloy steels, as well as for overlay cladding and for depositing buffer layers when welding clad products.

Application

ER309LMo can be used for joining unalloyed/low-alloy steels/cast steel grades or stainless/heat-resistant chromium steels/cast steel grades to austenitic steels/cast steel grades.

Feature

Typically used to weld 309 series stainless steels.
Has a low carbon content of 0.03% max. ER309LMO is usually needed for the first layer to achieve low carbon contents in other layers with ER316L or ER317L.
Conforms to certification: AWS A5.9 and ASME SFA A5.9.

We use a variety of carriers for shipments. Title and risk of loss pass to customer upon tender of shipment to carrier.

Shipping Policy Exceptions

Not all products qualify for the above Shipping Policy. Additionally, standard shipping rates apply for all orders delivered to Alaska and Hawaii. Any charges incurred for hazardous materials or other special handling by the carrier must be paid by the customer. Fuel surcharges may also be applied.

International and P.O. Box Orders

Welding & Industrial Supplies only accepts orders for shipments within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. Orders to international destinations will not be processed (see “International Shipping” section). Welding & Industrial Supplies does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Policy

Though all sales are final, Welding & Industrial Supplies accepts returns for 60 days from the invoice date for specific reasons and with certain stipulations per return reason, on a case-by-case basis.
Special orders or customized items are not returnable and such orders cannot be canceled once placed.
Only returns with assigned RGA numbers will be processed.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
