Designed for welding type 309 wrought, or cast forms, but used extensively for welding type 304 to mild or carbon steel.
Also used for welding 304 clad sheets and for applying stainless steel sheet linings to carbon steel.
Following the chemical composition designation comes the letter “T” which signifies that the product is a flux cored electrode or rod.
“1” or “0” indicating the recommended position of welding.
Conforms to certification: AWS A5.22 and ASME SFA A5.22.
This wire is designed for the welding of dissimilar metals such as stainless steels and carbon steels or stainless steels and low alloy steels.
It is a rutile type flux cored wire for all position welding.
It provides excellent weldability with a stable arc, less spattering, good bead appearance, better slag removal, and less welding fumes
The weld metal contains optimum ferrite contents in their austenitic structures.

We use a variety of carriers for shipments. Title and risk of loss pass to customer upon tender of shipment to carrier.

Shipping Policy Exceptions

Not all products qualify for the above Shipping Policy. Additionally, standard shipping rates apply for all orders delivered to Alaska and Hawaii. Any charges incurred for hazardous materials or other special handling by the carrier must be paid by the customer. Fuel surcharges may also be applied.

International and P.O. Box Orders

Welding & Industrial Supplies only accepts orders for shipments within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. Orders to international destinations will not be processed (see “International Shipping” section). Welding & Industrial Supplies does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Policy

Though all sales are final, Welding & Industrial Supplies accepts returns for 60 days from the invoice date for specific reasons and with certain stipulations per return reason, on a case-by-case basis.
Special orders or customized items are not returnable and such orders cannot be canceled once placed.
Only returns with assigned RGA numbers will be processed.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
