A premium mild steel solid wire formulated to provide high quality welds and trouble-free performance from heavy duty, high speed, spray transfer applications all the way to light duty low speed, short arc applications.

Frame fabrication, automotive structures, farm implements, construction equipment, pressure vessels, pipe fabrication, railcar construction and repair, general fabrication. Used in high-speed robotic and automatic welding applications and semi-automatic applications.

Feature

Mild Steel Welding Alloy. A general purpose welding wire for fabrication of mild steel. Contains more deoxidizers than ER70S-3.
The additional deoxidizers also provide better wetting, giving a flatter bead shape and the capability of faster travel speeds.
Usually used with 75/25 (argon/CO2) shielding gas or with higher contents of argon, such as 90/10. Can also be used with 100% CO2.
Expansive approvals include ISO9001, CCS, ABS, LR, GL, DNV, TUV, CE, and CWB.

Carriers

We use a variety of carriers for shipments. Title and risk of loss pass to customer upon tender of shipment to carrier.

Shipping Policy Exceptions

Not all products qualify for the above Shipping Policy. Additionally, standard shipping rates apply for all orders delivered to Alaska and Hawaii. Any charges incurred for hazardous materials or other special handling by the carrier must be paid by the customer. Fuel surcharges may also be applied.

International and P.O. Box Orders

Welding & Industrial Supplies only accepts orders for shipments within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. Orders to international destinations will not be processed (see “International Shipping” section). Welding & Industrial Supplies does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Policy

Though all sales are final, Welding & Industrial Supplies accepts returns for 60 days from the invoice date for specific reasons and with certain stipulations per return reason, on a case-by-case basis.
Special orders or customized items are not returnable and such orders cannot be canceled once placed.
Only returns with assigned RGA numbers will be processed.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
