E81T1-B8 is a flux cored electrode formulated for single and multiple pass welding of 9% chromium and 1% molybdenum steels.

Application

E81T1-B8 is used to weld 9Cr-1Mo steels such as A335-P9 piping and A213-T9 tubing. Typical applications involve high-temperature service in the petrochemical and petroleum industries.

Designed for single and multiple pass, all position welding of A335-P9 pipe, and A213-T9 tubing and other 9% Cr 1%Mo steels in petrochemical and petroleum high temperature service applications.
Uniform weld bead with good tie in, smooth, and stable arc transfer.
Greater tolerance of mill and rust, reduces the lack of fusion defects and has increased deposition rates compared to covered and solid electrodes.
For use in the pipeline industry
It is designed for welding of 9% Cr-1% Mo steel.
It is a rutile type flux cored wire for all position welding.
It has easy slag removal and good weld soundness.
The weld metal contains about 9% Cr-1% Mo, and has excellent creep rupture strength.

Shipping Policy Exceptions

Not all products qualify for the above Shipping Policy. Additionally, standard shipping rates apply for all orders delivered to Alaska and Hawaii. Any charges incurred for hazardous materials or other special handling by the carrier must be paid by the customer. Fuel surcharges may also be applied.

International and P.O. Box Orders

Welding & Industrial Supplies only accepts orders for shipments within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. Orders to international destinations will not be processed (see “International Shipping” section). Welding & Industrial Supplies does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Policy

Though all sales are final, Welding & Industrial Supplies accepts returns for 60 days from the invoice date for specific reasons and with certain stipulations per return reason, on a case-by-case basis.
Special orders or customized items are not returnable and such orders cannot be canceled once placed.
Only returns with assigned RGA numbers will be processed.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
