Superduplex grade ER2594 electrodes provide matching chemistry and mechanical property characteristics to wrought superduplex alloys such as ER2507 and Zeron 100 as well as superduplex casting alloys (ASTM A890).

The welding wire is overalloyed 2 - 3 percent in Nickel to provide the optimum ferrite/austenite ratio in the finished weld. This structure results in high tensile/yield strength and superior resistance to SCC and pitting corrosion.

Feature

  • Designed for welding duplex (2500 family) and super duplex (wrought UNS S32750 and S32760 and cast UNS J93380 and J93404) materials.
  • This all position bare wire provides resistance to pitting in aqueous environments containing chlorides.
  • Techniweld USA 2594 is designed for welding duplex (2500 family) and super duplex (wrought UNS S32750 and S32760 and cast UNS J93380 and J93404) materials.
  • This alloy offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion in chloride-bearing environments and excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion
  • This structure results in high tensile/yield strength and superior resistance to SCC and pitting corrosion.
  • Utilized for welding in the chemical and fertilizer industries, energy generation, flue gas desulfurization. Offshore applications including piping systems, pumps, valves and heat exchangers.
