Feature

  • Primarily intended for welding heat resistant austenitic Chromium-Nickel steels of similar analysis such as AISI 309 or 309S.
  • Also suitable for joining dissimilar metals such as 18Cr-8Ni stainless steel to mild steel and welding clad surfaces of steel.
  • Has a minimum carbon content of .04% and is used primarily in the overlay of steel where intergranular corrosion must be kept to a minimum.
  • Can be used for welding mild or carbon and low alloy steels as well as stainless steel joints provided the service temperature does not exceed about 700 deg F.
  • Meets ASME II SFA A5.4, ASME IX F No. 5 approvals.

We use a variety of carriers for shipments. Title and risk of loss pass to customer upon tender of shipment to carrier.

Shipping Policy Exceptions

Not all products qualify for the above Shipping Policy. Additionally, standard shipping rates apply for all orders delivered to Alaska and Hawaii. Any charges incurred for hazardous materials or other special handling by the carrier must be paid by the customer. Fuel surcharges may also be applied.

International and P.O. Box Orders

Welding & Industrial Supplies only accepts orders for shipments within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. Orders to international destinations will not be processed (see “International Shipping” section). Welding & Industrial Supplies does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Policy
  • Though all sales are final, Welding & Industrial Supplies accepts returns for 60 days from the invoice date for specific reasons and with certain stipulations per return reason, on a case-by-case basis.
  • Special orders or customized items are not returnable and such orders cannot be canceled once placed.
  • Only returns with assigned RGA numbers will be processed.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
