E81T1-Ni2 is an excellent selection for welding steels which require good CVN toughness and tensile strength in the range of 80,000-100,000 psi.

Application

E81T1-Ni2 is designed for single and multiple pass welding of carbon and certain low alloy steels such as ASTM A572, A575 and A734. E81T1-Ni2 is ideal for applications such as offshore platform construction, shipbuilding, earth moving and mining machinery.

Feature

  • Filler metals of this classification are used to weld 2½Ni steels and other materials requiring good toughness at temperatures as low as -40°F.
  • Typical applications include offshore platform construction, ship building, earth moving, and mining machinery.
  • Preheat and interpass temperatures are typically kept between 275-325°F.
  • This filler metal is used in the as welded condition.
  • This wire can be used on machinery, shipbuilding, offshore structures, bridges and general fabrications.
  • It is designed for welding of 590MPa high tensile steel with outstanding mechanical properties
  • It is a rutile type flux cored wire for all position welding with 2.0% Ni component.

Shipping Policy Exceptions

Not all products qualify for the above Shipping Policy. Additionally, standard shipping rates apply for all orders delivered to Alaska and Hawaii. Any charges incurred for hazardous materials or other special handling by the carrier must be paid by the customer. Fuel surcharges may also be applied.

International and P.O. Box Orders

Welding & Industrial Supplies only accepts orders for shipments within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. Orders to international destinations will not be processed (see “International Shipping” section). Welding & Industrial Supplies does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Policy
  • Though all sales are final, Welding & Industrial Supplies accepts returns for 60 days from the invoice date for specific reasons and with certain stipulations per return reason, on a case-by-case basis.
  • Special orders or customized items are not returnable and such orders cannot be canceled once placed.
  • Only returns with assigned RGA numbers will be processed.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
